Welcome

About Me

Hello! My name is Jada Reantaso. I graduated with my Associates of Science in Nursing degree from Tidewater Community college in December 2018 and received my Registered Nurse license in January 2019. I started my career as a nurse on a cardiac intermediate care unit at in February 2019 right after I received my RN licensure. On that unit we handled a wide range of patients dealing with cardiac issues such as NSTEMIs, STEMIs, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, hypertension, CAD, ACS, electrical conduction issues, and aortic stenosis to name a few. There are also patients who were waiting for cardiac procedures such as stent placements, cardiac catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), mitral valve replacements, CABGs, and more. Many of the patients had other chronic diseases such as diabetes and renal failure. Occasionally we would receive patients from overflow when the hospital was really busy and had patients that were not admitted for cardiac reasons. I really enjoyed working on that unit and felt is was a great place to start as a new graduate nurse! i left my job as a cardiac nurse in February 2021 and started working my dream job as a mother/baby nurse. Currently, I work on an L.D.R.P unit where we are cross trained in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care. I absolutely love my unit and all of the experience I am gaining.
